Brooklyn-based Daisy The Great released “The Record Player Song” in 2017 and it has since taken on a life of its own via TikTok and streaming. Alt-darlings AJR heard it and proposed the idea of reworking it for a collaboration, and the result is “Record Player,” which is already taking off at AAA and Alternative radio.
