Tom Morello was all over Austin last week performing tracks from his upcoming cd under the name The Nightwatchman. He stopped by and did a few songs with the folks from WXPN and the audio is up on the NPR site. Check it out here.

The Nightwatchman also stopped by Buffalo Billiards for an interview and performance with Minnesota Public Radio’s “The Current.” You can hear the audio from that by going here.

He also made a stop by Studio 1A at Austin’s own KUT. You can hear the interview here.

And by now you have probably heard about his surprise guests that joined him on stage at The Parish on Thursday night during the Hotel Cafe showcase at South By Southwest. If you missed it, on stage with Tom were Perry Farrell, Slash, Nuno Bettencourt, Wayne Kramer from MC5, Les Claypool, Queen V, Alexi Murdoch, and Road Trip actor Breckin Meyer on drums, among others. It was simply amazing. MTV’s Overdrive has a handful of clips (click here) and you can find other clips from it as well as The Nightwatchman’s solo performances at SXSW by going to YouTube here.

UPDATE: The great folks at MusicPlusTV have full versions of the Parish performance as well as other videos for SXSW shot in HD to check out at http://www.musicplustv.com/sxsw.
